All participants must review and accept the following Terms and Conditions, and acknowledge the risks associated with the activities.

Personal Accident and Cancellation Insurance is highly recommended.


1. Interpretation and Definitions

In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:

  • The Business: EDY Yann

  • Booking: A reservation made by the Client upon payment of a deposit.

  • Booking Form: A form provided by EDY Yann (via email) to be completed by the Client after the deposit is paid.

  • Contract: The agreement between the Client and EDY Yann under which services are provided.

  • Client: An individual or company that makes a booking with EDY Yann.

  • Deposit: An amount of £350 GBP.

  • Force Majeure: Any act, event, omission, or accident beyond EDY Yann’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage, compliance with any government law or order, accident, machinery breakdown, fire, flood, storm, supplier defaults, strikes, or transport failures.

  • Major Change: A significant alteration such as a change in date.

  • Minor Change: A minor adjustment, such as a change in accommodation.

  • Recordings: Photographs, videos, or any other visual recordings taken during the provision of the services.

  • Services: Activities, events, or retreats provided by EDY Yann to the Client.

Words importing the singular shall include the plural and vice versa. References to any gender include all genders. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.


2. Acceptance

A Contract is formed upon written confirmation of booking by EDY Yann.
By making a booking, the Client confirms that they have read and fully understood these Terms and Conditions. Any variations must be agreed upon in writing.
Verbal representations by EDY Yann are not binding.


3. Booking

A deposit is required to secure a booking.
Once the deposit is paid, the booking is confirmed and non-refundable.
Bookings can be made through www.edyyann.com or via email at yann.e@edyyann.com, with payments via BACS transfer.
All bookings remain provisional until the deposit has cleared.
EDY Yann reserves the right to decline bookings at its discretion.


4. Fee and Payment Terms

The fee covers the planning, organising, and delivery of the activity and/or service.
Upon receipt of the cleared deposit, a binding Contract is formed.
Any Client-requested changes may incur additional reasonable costs.
The balance must be paid 30 days before the arrival date, unless agreed otherwise.
Failure to pay the balance may result in cancellation without refund.


5. Responsibilities of the Client

The Client is responsible for:

  • Arranging travel to/from the activity location.

  • Their personal medical needs, clothing, and footwear.

  • Disclosing any relevant health issues in writing.
    Failure to do so may result in termination of the Contract without refund.


6. Variations and Amendments

Prices and service details may change prior to Contract formation.
If a Major Change occurs, EDY Yann will offer an alternative arrangement or a full refund.
For Minor Changes, EDY Yann is not obligated to provide compensation but will inform the Client where possible.


7. Cancellations by the Client

Cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Full payment cancellations are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations within six weeks of the start date will incur a fee of 50% of the remaining balance.


8. Cancellations by EDY Yann

EDY Yann reserves the right to cancel bookings.
Clients will be offered an alternative date or a full refund if a cancellation occurs.


9. Assignment

The Client may not assign the Contract without EDY Yann’s written consent.
Requests must include full contact details of the proposed third party.
EDY Yann reserves the right to refuse assignments without reason.
EDY Yann may assign or subcontract obligations without Client consent.


10. Services

Service content may change due to weather, fitness, or other factors.
Non-participation by the Client will not entitle them to a refund or alternative services.
Failure to disclose health issues may result in immediate Contract termination without refund.
Illegal or inappropriate behaviour may result in immediate removal without refund.


11. Complaints

Complaints must first be reported to the course manager or instructor.
If unresolved, escalate to an EDY Yann Director immediately.
Formal complaints must be made in writing within 28 days of service completion.


12. Liability

These conditions do not limit rights under law, nor exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
By attending EDY Yann activities, the Client accepts inherent risks, including injury or death, and releases EDY Yann and its agents from liability.
EDY Yann accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.


13. Media

EDY Yann reserves the right to use photographs, videos, and recordings taken during activities for promotional purposes, without further consent or compensation.


14. Copyright

All intellectual property rights in materials, services, and activities remain with EDY Yann.
Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.


15. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English and Welsh law.
The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
